Paolo and WoodyGianpaolo Gubbiotti and Paolo Capecci started their breeding and training business in 2000. Cà di Gianni had recently moved to central Italy, to Vocabolo Caldese di Celle near Città di Castello, a beautiful medieval Umbrian town located near Perugia and Arezzo. Gianpaolo and Paolo manage their business in perfect harmony, while Gianpaolo (photo right) is concerned with all aspects related to organizational and commercial structure, Paolo (photo left) is a worldwide respected handler. Cà di Gianni stands several internationally famous Arabian halter stallions and offers fresh, chilled and frozen semen. The breeding objective of Cà di Gianni is to improve the quality standards of Arabian horses and to produce horses whose "type" is superior.

"Over the years we have established a relationship of respect and collaboration with SBSItalia that enables us to provide professional services in the field of equine reproduction. SBS is a company of undoubted international reputation that allows us access to the latest reproductive technologies for our horses."

Ca Di Gianni Over the years Cà di Gianni has produced mares and stallions that, in addition to achieving excellent results in show rings all over the world, have distinguished Gianpaolo and Paolo as great breeders. Cà di Gianni began their collaboration with Select Breeders Services Italia in 2010. SBSItalia provides the farm with a resident reproduction veterinarian responsible for all routine breeding management of the mares and stallions, in addition to providing semen freezing and embryo transfer services. Therefore Cà di Gianni offers a unique combination of professional management and training of the Arabian horse whilst providing access to state of the art reproductive services.

"The production of frozen semen from our stallions and those belonging to our customers," says Capecci, "means they can participate in international shows and allows us to breed mares even when the stallions are not in the barn, plus we can guarantee their use as studs when faced with emergency situations!”
“Moreover," says Gubbiotti" having produced frozen semen for international distribution, we can ship their genetics around the world."
