Overview
Tjalbert 460 has it all—great conformation, outstanding movement and a sweet personality to complete the package. His exceptional work ethic makes it very clear that he loves his job. He is a joy to ride while also carrying the ideal traits of a breeding stallion.
He has a powerful walk with good reach, a balanced and supple trot and an uphill canter. Tjalbert has good legs and large hooves, which he passes on to his offspring. His elastic gaits, sound mind and superb conformation make him the model stallion.
Tjalbert descends from Beart 411 x Jasper 366, a line known for exceptional movement and jet black coats. Tjalbert’s dam line is loaded with Star and Preferent ladies from stam line 50. He is free from Wessel bloodlines and is therefore a valuable asset to many breeding programs.
What to Expect if You Breed to Tjalbert
His excellent linear scores make him a good choice for a variety of mares. He will improve the walk and trot and add height. Tjalbert is suitable for producing horses for dressage and driving, as well as nice all-around sport horses.
