Description

Select Breeders Service, Inc. (SBS) is seeking an energetic and motivated undergraduate to intern with our team of professionals at our Maryland based equine reproductive technology company.

This is a great learning opportunity for students interested in the applied aspects of equine business and marketing. Students in this position gain a wide variety of experience in the development of sales and lead nurturing campaigns, design and implementation of print advertising schedules, and exposure to website content management and search engine optimization. In addition the intern contributes to our monthly email newsletter and assists with the management of our social media channels.

If the student is interested, there may be some opportunity to participate in foal watching duties, depending upon the foaling schedule of the mares enrolled in our foaling program.

The ideal candidate is organized, self directed, detail oriented, flexible and a person who works well with others in a small "team" atmosphere.

This is an unpaid internship for the Summer Semester (June - August 2014). Housing will be provided.
