Overview

This remarkable stallion was sourced in Europe by Tyron Lucas of Coldstream Park. Tyron was looking for an outstanding stallion with world class paces to set a new benchmark in Australia. Uswin is worthy of just that and much more. He is one of the most accredited stallions ever to set food in Australia. In Europe he is highly successful and regarded.

To put it in perspective, Uswin ultimately qualified for the World Young Horse Games on two occasions and was reserve on another, however due to financial problems he was not able to go.

Uswin really has wow factor, his trot is truly unbelievable. Each stride has enormous lift of the knees and hock and the mechanics of his trot is of Olympic standard. His canter is so easy to collect and extend, making his collected work for Grand Prixa joy to work with and effortless. His walk overtracks by almost a foot and is lovely and supple.

Uswin is a masterpiece of breeding and movement but above all, his temperament is truly remarkable. Uswin is training grand prix movements with piaffe and passage being second nature. With European dressage champions on both sides of his pedigree, his sire is under serious consideration for the World Equestrian Games and is scoring more than 83% at Grand Prix in Europe. His dam carries the bloodlines of both Ferro and Ramiro Z, both being outstanding and well desired stallions in Europe, making this an opportunity to breed with a remarkable horse with a combination of bloodlines never before seen in Australia. Uswin will without a doubt be at the top of the Australian dressage leader board in the near future.

He will be campaigned by young dressage squad rider and FEI rider Tyron Lucas, under the guidance of only the best trainers.

100 day stallion testing performance winner (Selle Francais - 79.9%)

1st place in the federal 4 year old young dressage horse (France)

1st place in the federal 5 year old young dressage horse (France)

2nd place in the federal 6 year old young dressage horse (France)

1st place National PSG Championship (France, 2009)

He has competed in 4 PSG tests for 4 wins.

Twice qualified for the Young Horse Games, and another time as a reserve.

Offspring

Uswin's first crop of Australian foals arrived in 2011 out of Coldstream Park's quality Warmblood mares. We were delighted to find that Uswin passes his amazing movement, looks and nature down to his foals.
