About Equine Services

Equine Services is located in the beautiful Black Forest region of southern Germany, one hour northwest of Zurich and thirty minutes northeast of Bale. Working in cooperation with five veterinarians from Partners Vet Clinic, Equine Services offers a full range of stallion and mare reproduction services. Mare services include mare management for breeding with fresh, cooled or frozen semen. Mare owners can breed to stallions located in other regions and countries via shipped semen or choose a stallion from our breeding station. Equine Services also offers mare owners foaling assistance. Stallion breeding services are designed to allow owners to use their stallion's semen in a fresh, cooled, or frozen semen breeding program. Stallion services include: training to the phantom, semen collection & evaluation, computerized analysis of sperm motility & processing for cooled shipment. Equine semen freezing, storage and distribution services are offered as part of the Select Breeders Services Network.

Equine Services is a full service equine reproduction facility. Mare Breeding Services

Equine Services offers a full range of mare breeding services. We breed your mare with a stallion from our breeding station or a stallion of your choice from anywhere in the world.

Mare breeding services include breeding with artificial insemination with fresh semen, artificial insemination with shipped-cooled semen, or artificial insemination with frozen-thawed semen.

In order to determine the optimal time of breeding, mares are monitored on a daily bases. Mares in heat are teased daily as well as examined with transrectal palpation and ultrasonography.

Embryo transfer is also offered at our facility. For more information about the embryo transfer program please contact us.

We offer large, comfortable stalls and skilled foaling attendants 24 hours per day.

Stallion Breeding Services

The EU approved facility overs a full breeding program for your stallion. Our fully equipped laboratory has everything needed for collecting, processing, storing and distributing semen. This allows owners to use their stallion's semen in a fresh, cooled-transported, or frozen semen breeding program.
