Equine Laboratory Technician
The Laboratory Technician supports daily laboratory operations in the areas of Andrology, Endocrinology, Quality Control, Media Production, and Storage and Distribution. This position is responsible for laboratory maintenance, reproductive laboratory procedures, specimen processing, recordkeeping, inventory management and assisting with mobile laboratory services.
This is a full-time Monday-Friday position with alternating Sundays during the breeding season. Travel is required for scheduled mobile laboratory services. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, eager to learn and comfortable working both laboratory and equine environments.

SBS is seeking an energetic and motivated undergraduate to intern with our team of professionals at our Maryland based equine reproductive technology company. This is an unpaid internship for the Summer Semester (January/February to May). Housing will be provided.
The individual will assist our on-farm veterinarians, Dr. David Scofield and Dr. Elena Martinez de Andino: foal watching duties, assist at foalings and with neonatal care.

Although the intern will be primarily based at our SBS stallion division, there will some opportunity to assist veterinary staff at our mare facilities with mare reproduction and management.
