Overview
This newly approved KWPN stallion is sure to appeal to KWPN breeders seeking a pedigree outcross for their mares. O’Frederic is sired by For Romance I, a two time Oldenburg Champion stallion and Grand Prix competitor. For Romance is a well decorated competition horse with highlights including Bundeschampionat qualifier, Burg-Pokal Finalist, and VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year. His production record has been exceptional with over 60 approved stallions to his credit, numerous premium mares, and his oldest offspring are now proving themselves as top sporthorses.
O’Frederic’s dam Riana is half sibling to the successful Grand Prix horse Duke of Swing and by the impressive stallion Fidertanz. Fidertanz has been recognized for both his sport record up to Grand Prix and his production record with over 400 offspring successful in sport, contributing to him earning the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2021 and a 7th place ranking on the World Breeding Federation for Sporthorses Dressage Sire Ranking for 2022. Further back in his pedigree, we find the Donnerhall son De Niro who was Reserve Champion of his performance test with a score of 141.93. De Niro had a wonderful sport career with over 24 wins at S-Level and has been consistently ranked at the top of the WBFSH Dressage Sire Rankings for many years.

O’Frederic completed his KWPN Stallion Performance Test in 2022, earning scores of 9 for both his walk and rideability. Additional highlights included 8.5’s for canter and talent as dressage horse, and scores of 8 for trot and elasticity. This young stallion is a top choice for breeders seeking genetic diversity for the KWPN mares; as well as, improve the walk and rideability.
